1. Who we are
PDFAnvil is provided by Avro It Michał Marczak, registered at Przelotowa 188A, 42-523 Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland, VAT ID (NIP): PL6292383961 ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
2. The service
PDFAnvil is a local-first PDF editor available as a web application, a Chrome extension and a desktop application. Documents are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. An optional account enables paid plans, license management and syncing your license across devices.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid e-mail address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the application (Account → Delete account) or by writing to [email protected].
4. Plans and license grant
- Free: personal, non-exclusive right to use the basic feature set, with usage limits and a watermark on selected exports.
- Pro (subscription): non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use all features on up to 3 devices for the duration of the subscription.
- Lifetime: non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual right to use all features on up to 5 devices, including updates we make generally available.
You may not reverse engineer the software except where permitted by law, share or resell license keys, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. For consumers in the EU, prices include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from the customer portal (Account → Manage subscription) with effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU).
Digital content: during checkout you are asked to expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and to acknowledge that you thereby lose the statutory right of withdrawal once delivery has begun (Art. 16(m) of the Directive). Your license is delivered immediately after payment.
Our voluntary guarantee goes further: independently of the statutory rules, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on every first purchase — write to [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.

7. Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. When a purchase is refunded or charged back, the associated license is deactivated.
8. Availability and support
Core editing works offline on your device. Account and licensing services are provided with reasonable care but without an uptime guarantee. Support: [email protected].
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including our liability for intent or gross negligence, or consumers' statutory rights, including the conformity rights under Directive (EU) 2019/770). Otherwise, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Always keep copies of important documents — the software edits files locally on your device and no software is error-free.
10. Changes to the service and these Terms
We may modify the service and these Terms for valid reasons (legal, security, functional). We will notify account holders by e-mail of material changes at least 14 days in advance; if you do not accept them, you may terminate before they take effect.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law; consumers also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence. EU consumers may use the European Commission's ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
